I ADORE the feeling
ofstrength and inspiration I get from drawing
What fascinates me the most is finding ways to convey emotions through a character's facial expressions and body language. That's why I love drawing humanoids and furries, ESPECIALLY bringing them to life through animatics
I remember being 7 and making little animatics on paper to the edgiest emo songs, and I've been improving my ability to tell stories through art ever since
(at least I hope so ahah)
In my everyday life, I work as an art teacher for kids
and give lectures about art and music, but I dream
of is making animatics and illustrating books fulltime
I also have my own little projects and characters that I love developing, for example my fursona and mascot Lou.
She represents my artist name - Aklut, mythical creature
from Inuit folklore often depicted as a hybrid of the wolf
and orca or as a shapeshifting being that can
switch between their forms
I work with both digital and traditional illustration, lately have been especially in love with textures and layering
My absolute favorites are wax crayons, pastels,
and watercolors!! Trying to bring those textures to my digital art aswell. Speaking about favorites, my favorite dish is ptitim with soy sauce. Fav music: mcr, p!atd, iamx (I swear there are not only abbreviations) imogen heap, sneaker pimps, fleur, moremoney, JCS, Notre-Dame and Hadestown (the musicals) AND ofc MY GIRL HATSUNE MIKU (and Gumi, she was my first vocaloid love)
Fav anime: mob psycho 100, fullmetal alchemist 2003
